Over the past 20 years, Nemtek has entrenched itself as the leading manufacturer of security energisers and is one of the most respected manufacturers and suppliers of electric fence equipment throughout the world.

The vast experience gleaned during this time has ensured that the Nemtek design team has stayed ahead of the pack and are continually improving and developing new products to suit market requirements. As a result of the continual investment in technology and equipment, the Nemtek brand is now specified throughout the world and its equipment can be found on sites such as prisons, airports, government buildings and game farms as far afield as Europe, UK and the whole of Africa.

Nemtek boasts its own electronics factory as well as a fully automated steel and assembly line that ensures all products bearing the Nemtek name are of the highest quality and meet all industry standards. The electronics factory has state-of-the-art pick and place machines, and lead-free solder facilities.

The company supplies a vast range of products, from effective but affordable domestic solutions, agricultural fencing, pet products, high security to the multiple integrated high security systems.

Growth over the last 20 years has seen Nemtek open branches throughout the country to add to the more than 45 existing distribution centres. Nemtek was also the only South African electric fencing company to exhibit at IFSEC UK and IFSEC South Africa for the last five years in a row. It has also exhibited at security shows in Germany, Thailand, Malaysia, Australia, Turkey, Mauritius and a number of African countries.

Following the introduction of government legislation during 2013, Nemtek added to the service offered to its customers by opening a fully accredited training facility in Northriding with qualified assessors and moderators on hand. Installers who complete and pass the course offered by Nemtek are able to register with EWSETA and the Department of Labour which then enables them to issue certificates of conformance for electric fence installations.
