Hi-Tech Security Solutions will be hosting another Executive Roundtable breakfast focused on the financial and healthcare market. This invitation-only event at the Fairlawns Hotel will take place on the 15th May 2013 and provides an opportunity for an exclusive group of senior risk and security executives to explore and address the threat of identity-based fraud in healthcare and financial services.
Invitees will have a chance to hear and discuss how fingerprint-based identification is extensively used in South Africa to combat fraud and accelerate business processes. Identification by cards, PINs and passwords are quite common in today’s financial transactions. And the increasing abuse of identity within these transactions is causing escalating losses. Modern biometrics provide a tested and proven solution for accurate authentication that cuts identity-based fraud, reduces the costs of security and risk management and improves business processes and productivity.
Hi-Tech Security Solutions’ editor, Andrew Seldon, will facilitate the event and the keynote of the day will be by world-renowned business strategist Clem Sunter, who will speak on 'Possible scenarios in a future South Africa'.
Sunter will be followed by a presentation on 'Applied identity control: Principles and practice', by Mark Eardley, identity management consultant. He will be followed by Alan Goodway, business development executive: Innovation, Business Connexion, who will speak on the 'Total business case for modern biometrics'.
