Bentel J408-8 fire panel

Bentel's new J408-8 Fire Panel, available from Elvey Security Technologies, is a microprocessor system suited for small to medium applications. It has eight zones that each supports up to 21 detectors. Each detector in turn has an alarm-repeat output for selective management in the event of a fire. The J408-8 also has two supervised, silenceable alarm outputs for self-powered sirens, piezoelectric sirens, fire bells flashers and telephone diallers.

The gas zone is compatible with 4-20 mA gas detectors, and the fire control panel has an event log that can be viewed - for up to a total of 50 events - via a personal computer. The J408-8 also has a programmable restoral and reset time and an alarm verification feature, as well as a dry contact for the activation of the auxiliary devices. The fire panel is protected by a lockable front plate that allows only authorised personal access, while the keypad commands require key or PIN codes.

The optional software allows a full management of events memory, files, reset and all the programmable functions provided by the control panel.
