Alarm control panels from Texecom

July 2005 Perimeter Security, Alarms & Intruder Detection

Texecom, supplier of electronic security products, boasts seven state-of-the-art alarm control panels, ranging from an entry level 800 to top of the range 640 control panel.

The 800-control panel boasts eight zones, eight programmable outputs, a 500-event buffer and many more powerful features to suit most domestic and smaller commercial industrial installations.

The Texecom 412 alarm control panel boasts eight zones expandable to 16 zones, eight programmable outputs, a 750 event buffer, two partitions with common areas, five stay (home) modes, four timers with seven day maps to allow the switching of outputs (ideal for lighting, irrigation systems etc,) to auto arm and disarm on required days and at certain times as may be required, user codes can be locked into time windows and specific days (ideal for domestic codes etc).

The Texecom 412 will accept LED and LCD keypads and has 31 programmable user codes. The Texecom 412 is the most versatile control panel in its price range in the security industry.

The Texecom 832 has all the powerful features of the 412 with the addition of four partitions, 64 user codes and DTMF dial in control. (The panel will accept commands to arm, check last alarms, clear memory, activate outputs and disarm the system.) The DTMF control is completely secure, as it will require use of a valid 4-digit user code with DTMF access allowed.

The Texecom 88, 168, and 640 are generally used in larger installations boasting multiple zones, 88, 168 an 640 respectively with up to 64 partitions and multiple programmable output. The above panels have the facility to be user code or tag controlled with event buffers of up to 4000 events. All Texecom control panels are GSM, GPRS, LAN and WAN compatible and will communicate via these formats to central stations and facilitate up and down load via the above formats. All Texecom control panels have many more powerful features to suit all applications, as would be expected from a world leading range of products.
