Honeywell announced the addition of a miniature true day/night PTZ dome camera to its Performance Series range. The HDTX PTZ dome offers the economy and size of a fixed lens mini-dome camera while offering the functionality and versatility of a PTZ dome. The HDTX is a low profile unit suited to areas where a larger dome is impractical.
Its small size remains virtually unnoticed in varying indoor surveillance applications, so it is perfect for retail sites or other environments where customers and visitors are monitored.
The camera provides good picture quality – even in low light – due to its 10X optical zoom lens and 470 TVL resolution. A single connection lead connects straight into the dome, saving the installer time on site or allowing more domes to be commissioned per day. Each unit comes with fittings so that it can be flush or surface-mounted. Wall and ceiling mount brackets are also available.
The HDTX is also environmentally friendly, designed to consume less energy and customers have the option to power it via either a 24 VAC or 12 VDC power supply.
