Security events you can’t miss in 2020

Issue 1 2020 News & Events

Hi-Tech Security Solutions will host a number of focused events in 2020 to highlight the latest in security technology and the operational benefits they deliver.

Starting on 12 March 2020, Hi-Tech Security Solutions will be hosting the full-day Residential Estate Security Conference in Durban. The theme of this year’s conference is Meeting Estate Security Challenges in 2020 and Beyond. The conference will address issues pertinent to better estate security and operations with presentations covering, among other topics, artificial intelligence (AI), risk assessments, effective communications, cybersecurity and the latest in estate security, drones.

Moving north, on the 8th October, Hi-Tech Security Solutions will host an all-new Residential Estate Security Conference, this time in Johannesburg. The agenda will be published closer to the time.

Hi-Tech Security Solutions will once again address the retail security industry with an event in August covering the technology solutions available that can be used to enhance retail security while optimising profit. The latest security technologies in the retail space not only make security processes more efficient, but also assist in automating operational procedures and boosting profits in an industry where margins are often razor thin.

You can’t turn around these days without hearing about cybersecurity and the latest cyber escapade. The physical security industry is no exception to the cyber onslaught and Hi-Tech Security Solutions will be hosting the first event in South Africa designed specifically to address cybersecurity as it pertains to the physical security world.

To be held in May, in Johannesburg, the Cybersecurity in the Physical Security World half-day conference will address a number of cyber/physical concerns. Starting off, we will discuss what cybersecurity actually means in the physical security environment and what the real risks are. The conference will also address the issue of ‘smart security’, making use of the latest technologies to streamline and cut the costs of a security solution while measurably improving the results.

Keep an eye on the Calendar of Events in future Hi-Tech Security Solutions magazines as well as the Conferences & Events category on www.securitysa.com as we will be updating the events, providing agendas and more as we get closer to the conferences.
