1080p analogue HD

November 2015 Products & Solutions, Surveillance

TeleEye introduced a new range of 1080p Analogue HD (AHD) video surveillance solutions which includes the AF Series AHD 1080p cameras and JN6 Series AHD 1080p DVRs. The JN6 Series AHD 1080p DVRs comes in a range of 4-, 8- and 16-channel models. Besides AHD and conventional composite video analogue cameras, the JN6 Series AHD 1080p DVRs can also work with the TeleEye MP Series IP cameras.

The AHD solution means there is no need to uproot the wiring of your current SD system or setup a new IP. Users can continue to use their existing coaxial cables. All that is required in order to upgrade from SD to HD is to replace the existing cameras and DVRs with the new products from TeleEye’s 1080p AHD solutions. These 1080p AHD cameras and DVRs are not only capable of backward compatibility, but also have seamless compatibility with standard analogue equipment, making them HD and SD switchable.

TeleEye 1080p AHD systems use point to point transmission to secure smooth and reliable image quality. Generally IP cameras can only transmit videos to approximately 100 m, but TeleEye’s 1080p AHD cameras can obtain a long-distance HD video transmission through a coaxial cable of up to 400 m.
