Secure valuables and improve firearm safety

Securex Preview 2026 News & Events

North Tech is a specialist company with the ability to design and build specialist safes and equipment to safeguard money and valuables (North Tech) and firearms (under the Mach-Tech brand), including the Bullet-Trapp in the line-up. The Bullet-Trapp is state-of-the-art and is tested in a SANAS-approved laboratory.

Products that will be on display at Securex include:

• Mk2 Bullet-Trapp for handguns only, up to 44 Magnum.

• Mk3 Bullet-Trapp for handguns and rifles up to 7.62x51mm NATO (R1).

• Mk3 with reporting capabilities.

The latest solution (to an age-old problem) is the MK3 Bullet-Trapp, which can report an accidental discharge (AD) via SMS message, a control room, or both. This means no more hiding an AD and better control for security managers. If there is an AD, the person in charge will know.

North Tech has developed one of the most advanced make-safe devices in the world. The result for customers is:

• No more harmful gas blown into your face (gas blowback).

• Fully tested by a SANAS-approved ballistic laboratory.

• Patented.

• Portable, can even work upside down.

• Serviceable, and if used within design parameters, the unit can last indefinitely. The service intervals are between 10 and 15 rounds.
