SecuTraq F2 Bodycam

SMART Surveillance 2023 Surveillance, Products & Solutions

In today’s rapidly evolving world, security and protection have become paramount concerns for law enforcement professionals. The F2 body-worn camera (BWC) from Secutel, offers a comprehensive solution by combining cutting-edge technology and advanced features designed to enhance safety and surveillance capabilities.

At the forefront of its features is the F2’s ability to record high-quality video in 720p resolution, ensuring every detail is captured accurately. Additionally, its four infrared lights enable night vision, making it effective even in low-light conditions. This enables law enforcement officers to gather vital evidence and maintain constant situational awareness, irrespective of the time of day.

The F2 is equipped with 3G/4G and Wi-Fi connectivity options, and the built-in GPS ensures accurate location tracking, enabling efficient deployment and response coordination. Moreover, it boasts a Push-to-Talk (PTT) button, facilitating seamless cellular group radio communication among team members.

The F2’s portable and lightweight, wearable design enhances its usability. It can be effortlessly worn and carried, ensuring ease of use during intense field operations. Furthermore, the device’s IP68 rating and rugged construction make it waterproof, dust-proof, and resistant to impacts from up to 2 metres. This durability enables it to withstand the harshest weather conditions and challenging working environments, providing reliability when it matters most.

With its advanced camera system, including a main front camera of 20 MP, a sub-front camera of 13 MP, and a rear camera of 5 MP, the F2 captures clear footage from different angles.

Notably, the F2’s infrared LEDs further extend its surveillance capabilities by capturing visible contours within a range of 20 metres and clear footage within 5 metres in low-light or complete darkness. This feature significantly enhances the ability to identify individuals and objects in challenging lighting conditions, contributing to effective security operations.

Platform features

• Time and attendance: Schedule synchronised guard tour operations in real-time. Including the ability to collect, organise, view, and store comprehensive data for audit purposes.

• Route planning: Pre-plan the exact route to be patrolled via virtual waypoints throughout the site.

• Site and geofence definition to define a site and manage late arrivals and early abscondments.

• Standard operating procedures (SOP) can be defined for each type of event.

• Remote monitoring from the SecuTraq platform. View connectivity status (GSM status and GPS status), battery levels and request photos/videos.

• First responding: Broadcasts the guard’s location to all the nearest responding partners. They will be able to track him in real time, assist in case of emergencies, and see the photos that were taken.

• Cloud storage: Photos, videos and events are stored securely in the cloud.

• Facial recognition and detection collects faces at sites, events and buildings. The system will inform the control room operator about ‘people of interest’.

• With Push-to-Talk, broadcasts can be made to everyone on the network, and users can communicate one-on-one or to specific broadcast groups.

• Photos/videos are sent to the control room immediately.
