KWAL raises a glass to security upgrade

The Kenya Wine Agencies Limited (KWAL) was in need of an integrated security upgrade. This is where Turnstar came into the picture to provide a solution that would keep KWAL secure and efficient.

Two Velocity Raptor Automatic Spike Barriers were manufactured and supplied by Turnstar for recessed installation on the premises. The barriers have Optic LED barrier arms and a battery backup, allowing for greater safety, visibility, and uninterrupted operation.

Turnstar also provided two TITAN double turnstiles with security gates equipped with mounting brackets for an access control system. To ensure quality results, these turnstiles were hot dip galvanised for corrosion protection. The turnstiles are robust yet stylish, providing both aesthetically appealing design and security features that can withstand any kind of weather conditions, while keeping intruders away from the premises. Furthermore, they feature the unique Rotalok locking mechanism that makes it virtually impossible to pass without authorisation.

Given the nature of the project and location of installation, Turnstar committed to designing products that are durable yet cost-effective for KWAL’s budget requirements. Using high quality materials like powder coated 3Cr12 stainless steel and galvanised mild steel ensures the longevity of both product life expectancy as well as aesthetic appeal over time.
