Outdoor access terminals

Residential Security Handbook 2021: SMART Estate Living Access Control & Identity Management

Your outdoor access terminals need to be rugged, dust and weather proof. Suprema’s range of outdoor access and time attendance hardware offers durability and superior performance in extreme conditions.

Suprema’s latest addition to the outdoor family is FaceStation F2. An IP65 rated face recognition terminal for hands-free, hygienic access which also supports temperature measurement with Suprema Thermal Camera added.

BioStation 2, BioLite N2 and BioEntry W2 provide card, PIN and finger authentication and Xpass, Xpass 2, Xpass S2 and Xpass D2 operate with card/PIN only. The outstanding outdoor performance of these devices can be attributed to their IP65- or IP67-rated protection, meticulous sealing, and extra protective engineering, with BioEntry W2, Xpass 2 and Xpass D2 also featuring IK-08 vandal resistance over and above this.

Being able to provide a touchless option at access points is an added benefit and is attainable through a selection of multiple RF options as well as Mobile Card (NFC and/or BLE). Where this is not possible, Suprema’s latest innovation, the Airfob patch, can be used instead.

For estate managers and system administrators, BioStar 2, Suprema’s open web-based security management platform features a detailed dashboard which provides quick insight into any anomalies that occur in the system and a real time event monitoring tab that provides a record of all events of people coming in and out of access points.

In compliance with data regulation and protection standards, estate managers can have the ease of knowing that all sensitive data is encrypted and managed in compliance with GDPR. Biostar 2 also features a visitor management module, alarm notifications, remote access and monitoring as well as a video module for integrating surveillance systems and access control into one platform.

Suprema terminals have also been integrated into many other leading access control platforms.
