FingerTec’s Q2i is a new fingerprint time and attendance and door access device. With a high storage capacity and equipped with the latest precision fingerprint scanning algorithm VX10.0, the Q2i delivers features such as work codes and short message display for either the personal or public recipients for effective communication.
The terminal also comes with many options and methods for users to synchronise the terminal to the bundled software, FingerTec’s TCMS V2 for further processing of attendance data to ease report generating and payroll processes.
Other features include a full-colour TFT screen to display pictures, corporate advertisements, screen savers, etc. Easy terminal synchronising is enabled with option of TCP/IP. RS485 or RS232, USB flashdisk and even WiFi (upon request). Simple work codes for attendance monitoring allows companies to provide staff some flexibility by allowing them to report their attendance status by simply punching in a 2-digit code into the terminal. With a variety of verification methods, users can use not only fingerprint verification, but also cards or passwords, or a combination of both.
