Abattis is a new, hi-tech, intelligent, perimeter defence system which uses any combination of today's surveillance and monitoring technologies to allow for a completely false-alarm free system. The fence system is completely configurable to the customer's defence requirements and carries a continuous 10 000 V pulsating current in the top section of the fence while maintaining a passive monitoring condition on the bottom section of the fence. Should there be a real attempt to breach the fence, the system can be designed and programmed to one or all of the following:
* Send the 10 000 V to the bottom section of the fence that is being attacked for any specified period of time.
* Send a low voltage jolt in the first instance, and increase this over a period of time (in the case of children or dogs accidentally setting the system off).
* Set off alarms/sirens/security lights.
* Trigger CCTV recording.
* Send SMS and/or e-mail notification.
* Location of attack (each monitored section is defined as a point of lattitude-longitude on the system controller.
* Send video image grab of incident to response team (determination of response force).
