The future of integrated security

Issue 4 2023 Access Control & Identity Management, Integrated Solutions

Gallagher Security teamed up with five technology partners to showcase their latest integrated security capabilities at the Integrate 360° Roadshow in Cape Town.

Held at the 360° Bloemendal Wine Estate on Thursday, 1st of June 2023, attendees to the Integrate 360° Roadshow experienced a variety of sessions, where each technology partner had the opportunity to give the audience a quick presentation and a live showcase on the product demonstration floor of how their integration works.

With around 80 guests from the security industry in attendance, the event was designed for channel partners, end users, and consultants to provide a space for networking with other industry professionals and to learn about the latest trends and developments in integrated security technology.

The roadshow was co-sponsored by Gallagher technology partners including Milestone, Idemia, Kenai, Hanwha Vision, and Traka Assa Abloy.

On hosting the Integrate 360° Roadshow, Gallagher Security Africa’s Group Operations Officer, Morne Grobler said, “The Integrate 360° Roadshow was a great success, and we are grateful to have had the opportunity to reconnect and network with our valued channel partners, consultants, and customers. A big thanks also to our technology partners who co-sponsored the event.”

“Our integration capabilities play a crucial role in our success. They also directly impact our customers, providing the ability to seamlessly integrate with other systems and hardware and deliver significant benefits such as cost and time savings, improved data integrity, and meeting health and safety obligations. At Gallagher, we take pride in offering a unified platform that combines the expertise of some of the finest technology companies worldwide, providing a security solution that caters to the unique needs of every business."

Attendees learned more about the latest release of Gallagher’s security site management software, Command Centre v8.90. The latest enhancements to Command Centre include facial biometrics and synchronised cardholder management and have been described as ‘people-first integrations, designed to simplify user experiences and improve business efficiencies’.

The recently released, all-encompassing solution for single-door access control, the Controller 7000 Single Door (C7000 SD) was also demonstrated to attendees. The C7000 SD retains significant capacity to manage powerful new features added in future Command Centre releases, and in supporting a distributed access control architecture, the device combines the localised assurance of a door access decision with the ability to scale in numbers to support the largest enterprise systems.

Gallagher Security South Africa will host two further Integrate 360° Roadshows later this year in Johannesburg and Durban.
