Held at the Gallagher Convention Centre in Midrand, from 6 to 8 June 2023, Securex South Africa is not only the largest platform for security offerings on the continent, but also provides attendees with the opportunity to find out about current trends at the free-to-attend Securex Seminar, powered by UNISA.

“Security technology evolves at a blistering pace, so it’s important to keep up to date with changing trends in order to ensure maximised safety of human and personal assets. Andreas Matthee, CEO of Tech4IR will focus on the benefits of Distributed Acoustic Sensing (DAS) technology for perimeter intrusion detection across several industry applications.

‘No Password, No Problem: The Future of Authentication in a Threatening World’ is the theme of this talk by Rami Kayyali, CTO of The Kernel. Rodney Taylor of Guardian Eye tackles the ‘Use of AI, machine learning and data analytics for security and cybersecurity’. Lizette Lancaster, Manager: Crime and Justice Information Hub, Justice and Violence Prevention Programme, Institute for Security Studies, Pretoria, will be unpacking SAPS crime statistics.
