Call for nominations: South African OSPAs

Issue 5 2022 Editor's Choice

Entry to the second South African Outstanding Security Performance Awards (OSPAs) is open, and anyone who provides a product or service to the security sector in South Africa can enter.

The OSPAs have once again partnered with Securex South Africa to deliver the 2022 and 2023 awards. Winners of the 2022 awards will be announced at a free-to-attend virtual awards presentation to take place on 10 November 2022. A special trophy presentation will take place at Securex South Africa in June 2023, where the winners will also be revealed.

Entry is open until 3 October 2022 and nominations are invited in the following categories:

1. Outstanding Contract Security Company (Guarding)

2. Outstanding Security Consultant

3. Outstanding Security Installer/Integrator

4. Outstanding New Security Product

5. Outstanding Risk Management Solution

6. Outstanding Security Equipment Manufacturer

The OSPAs are currently running in 15 countries and are recognised by many as the most prestigious accolade a security company or professional can be awarded. The judges are selected by leading security associations across South Africa; the judging process is rigorous and robust, and all judges sign up to an ethics policy and mark entries independently.
