Says Elvey International's Matthew Short, "In light of the current challenges that South Africa faces in the areas of electronic security and crime prevention, only the best for our customers will do. Thus Elvey International conforms to quality standards as set by SABS ISO 9001:2000 as a system of raising the level of product and service quality, reliability, and efficiency."

Adds Short, "As one of South Africa's leading providers of electronic security equipment, Elvey International continuously strives to add value to our customers by offering extensive training programmes aimed at enhancing the product knowledge of installers, as well as instilling the ability to install and maintain security systems with ease and confidence."

"Our existing training program is continuously improved and updated by introducing new training courses as the industry changes. Most courses are presented at training facilities, which are located at the branches in Johannesburg, Pretoria, Nelspruit, Bloemfontein, Cape Town, Port Elizabeth, East London and Durban. For convenience, training can also be conducted at the client's premises."

Short says that all of Elvey's instructors are qualified to tutor the various courses offered by Elvey International in accordance with ISO 9001 standards. Offering an excellent blend of classroom theory and hands-on practical training, the programme is claimed to provide technicians with the fundamental skills to install, commission and maintain 'state of the art' alarm systems.

"Through Elvey International's instinct for security, a technical help line has been set up to service customers with a much more convenient way of accessing technical support," says Short. "A highly qualified and experienced technical help team is on hand from 8 am to 5 pm on Mondays to Fridays, lending solutions to all technical inquiries and problems. The help team can be reached on 0867 33 33 44," he concludes.
