Setting the pace in safety and security solutions

August 2003 News & Events

By acquiring Philips CSI and Radionics/Detection Systems, Bosch Security Systems has become a 'one-stop shop' for advanced safety and security solutions, that includes systems for fire detection, access control and intrusion detection to a formidable range of video surveillance products and configurations.

Pure innovation in surveillance

Bosch is a long-established developer and provider of innovative video surveillance solutions of all sizes. The company's systems allow constant monitoring, high-grade recording, transmission of images to the appropriate authorities, and secure storage of crucial footage for use as evidence.

Digital 'versatile' recorder

Bosch Security Systems' range of digital recorders includes Divar 'versatile' systems that record, switch and retrieve images from a variety of CCTV cameras. These multichannel units offer extensive alarm handling, sophisticated search and playback capabilities, advanced data protection, and remote access through data networks, telephone lines or Internet.

Dinion digital cameras offer 'smart' surveillance

Bosch digital recorders are complemented by an extensive range of digital CCTV cameras. The Dinion series, for instance, is packed full of performance-enhancing features. Dinion cameras are capable of producing high quality images regardless of light levels, and even automatically increase sensitivity in low-visibility conditions. They also offer quality colour reproductions and backlight compensation.

360° surveillance with AutoDome

AutoDome cameras offer 360° surveillance, and their quiet operation and discreet appearance makes them almost unnoticeable. These are suitable for applications like casinos, banks and department stores. AutoDomes with AutoTrack even detect motion while conducting tours, then zoom in and follow the target, all without operator intervention.

Protection against unauthorised access, intrusion and fire

Bosch Security Systems complements its video surveillance expertise with an extensive portfolio of other safety and security systems. Its intrusion detection systems protect people and premises from unauthorised access. All alarms are monitored centrally and forwarded so appropriate action can be taken quickly. Furthermore, the company's access control systems allow one to specify exactly who gains access to corporate sites, buildings and offices, and also to monitor and log all activity, whilst Bosch's fire detection systems allow fires to be detected and reported at an early stage.
