Issue 4 2021 News & Events, Access Control & Identity Management

Hitachi Europe, a pioneer of finger vein biometric technology and iPulse Systems have announced a partnership to allow iPulse to distribute Hitachi’s VeinID products and solutions in Africa.

iPulse will distribute and sell all of Hitachi’s current range as well as its future solutions that are being launched within the next few months. iPulse has local knowledge and skills in biometrics to accelerate and enable the growth of the reseller network and support the VeinID Products. This will include both Hitachi Finger Vein readers as well as the innovative VeinID Five.

“At Hitachi, we work with our partners to create innovative solutions that solve problems and iPulse has the knowledge and skills to support that. We are excited to have a distributor to support the growth taking place within this region”, says Ravi Ahluwalia, general manager of Hitachi Europe’s Security Business.

“As a company with a strong presence and long history in the African market, having the Hitachi VeinID product portfolio is a natural fit for the iPulse product line. Our entire team is excited about the prospects that this incredible technology brings to the party and is looking forward to not only working with resellers and partners throughout the region, but building it into our own client platforms as well”, says Gary Chalmers, chief executive officer of iPulse Systems.
