CS Holdings wins achievers award

December 2002 News & Events

CS Holdings has won the 2002 BMI-T African Achievers Award for the most progressive company, beating a strong field of contending finalists. The African Achievers Awards are organised in partnership with the department of communications, with SITA as a co-partner.

The most progressive company category recognises the company that has done the most to advance the cause of black economic empowerment (BEE) and company transformation in the last year.

"It is a real achievement to be chosen as the overall winner of this category," said CS Holdings CEO Annette van der Laan. "Our hard work and commitment to this endeavour have paid off, and we now know that we are on the right track to achieving our goal of becoming a truly 'New South African' company."
