TeqTrader has been granted exclusive rights to market Pulnix outdoor sensor products in Southern Africa. Headquartered in California, Pulnix Sensors are manufacturers and distributors of high quality passive infrared sensors, active infrared beams, closed circuit television equipment and alarm products.
This range includes:
* The Pulnix photoelectric outdoor beam sensor system, the PB-30TK/60TK K/W - which features unique twin beams synchronised to work together to reinforce range and stability in severe weather conditions and to reduce false alarms caused by birds and falling leaves. The system has a rotary optical system for easy installation and the special lens design aids in proper alignment.
* The Pulnix Intelligent Quad Series, the PB-IN-50HF/100HF/200HF, features four outdoor beams using strong active infrared transmission. An external light compensation circuit provides tolerance against sunlight, vehicle headlights, fluorescent or mercury lighting. The system offers two levels of beam transmission strength to suit the required protection distance.
* The weatherproof Pulnix passive infrared sensor switch, the MS-100E, for indoor or outdoor use can detect body temperature through infrared rays from the human body and can be linked to activate lighting or surveillance camera systems when an intruder is detected. Four detection patterns are available.
* Moving or motionless human size objects can be detected with the PR-1B photoelectric beam sensor that incorporates a near infrared direct reflective detection system. Sensitivity is adjustable to fit for installation sites, but the system is set to detect a human body 1 m away. Both a transmitter and a receiver are incorporated in one unit to reduce installation time.
