The Viper, made by Duevi, is an exterior sensor integrating technologies such as active anti-masking, Redsense digital analysis algorithm and a simple walk-test mode. Available in wired and wireless variants, the sensor features two infrared heads that are independently adjustable along both vertical and horizontal axes.
Designed for the installer, the BT Link and View Sensor app connects to the detector via a Bluetooth connection to a mobile device. From the app they are able to adjust the settings of the sensor heads, see the level of the signal in real-time, set a scene to see the effect of what that specific environment has on the device(s), detect the battery level, turn anti-masking and the LED light on and off, and adjust settings for quiet time to save battery life.
Viper has a range of up to 10 metres, coverage of 100 degrees, IP54 outdoor protection and IK10 anti-vandal ratings, and can be mounted at heights from 1 m up to 2,2 m. It can be powered by two CR123 lithium batteries and features automatic temperature compensation.
Also available is the Duevi Moskito range, an outdoor detector that integrates six PIR (passive infrared) heads to protect three sides independently of each other.
