The range of compact remote controls from Centurion Systems is now available in three models, Classic, Smart2 and Nova.
Classic is a remote control system using code setting by binary dip switches. The manual code setting allows for convenient after sales supply of additional remotes. The Classic is compatible with most South African 12-binary dip switch systems.
Smart is a remote control system using 'self-learning' technology to make it very quick and easy to set up. Each transmitter has a unique code obviating the need to set dip switches. With no two codes alike, the system is very secure. Smart2 is fully compatible with the current Smart range.
The Nova system incorporates code hopping technology to offer the ultimate security in a remote control. A unique randomly changing code is transmitted with each operation making it impossible to duplicate the system. The new Centurion remote is available with one, two, three or four buttons (the Classic is limited to three buttons).
The Centurion receiver uses self learning technology to learn the code of the transmitter whether it is a Classic, Smart or Nova. The receiver is available with one, two, three or four channels. (The Classic is limited to up to a three channel receiver). Each channel can be selected for either latching or nonlatching output. The receiver is housed in its own weatherproof housing allowing quick and easy external mounting for improved range. The Centurion receiver uses stable selective narrow band technology to ensure reliable reception over a long period of time.
