Centurion’s 5X Better showcase

November 2016 News & Events

The recent acquisition of Centurion by FAAC S.pa marks a new chapter in the story of this South African manufacturer of gate automation solutions.

Centurion’s latest campaign is called the 5X Better campaign and showcases five products that have undergone improvements in recent months, with an emphasis on making installers’ lives easier and streamlining the installation process.

“At Centurion,” says the company’s marketing manager, Mark O’Brien, “we are constantly endeavouring to improve our products and make installers’ jobs easier and quicker. We want our clients to know that we listened to their qualms and queries, and these improvements are our response.”

The five products that have undergone upgrades and improvements are:

The NOVA range of remote controls now boast an updated and sophisticated carbon look as well as durable silicone buttons designed to withstand a lifetime of pressing.

The SupaHelix multi-user access control system, featuring a large liquid crystal display for ease of setup and diagnostics, replaces Centurion’s SupaNova townhouse receiver.

A new offering, the Pinion SPYDER is an auxiliary device designed to help installers get the gap between the gate rack and the gate motor pinion just right without wasting precious time onsite.

An upgrade of Centurion’s RDO roll-up garage door operator, the RDO II has a built-in multichannel receiver (incorporating secure code-hopping technology) and is compatible with Centurion’s wired and wireless infrared safety beams.
