Eurobyte an official Sunell training and certification centre

May 2016 News & Events, Surveillance

Sunell Security has announced the appointment of Eurobyte Technology as one of its official training and certification centres in South Africa. This just one month after Eurobyte announced its appointment as an official Sunell distributor for South and southern Africa.

As a bonus to its clients across South Africa, Sunell has agreed to work with Eurobyte and provide all training and certification to clients at no cost until the end of 2016. This free certification offer applies to both Eurobyte channel partners as well as other Sunell integrators and technicians who choose to improve their skills at one of Eurobyte’s training centres.

Roberto Vizcarra, director of the surveillance section at Eurobyte says the appointment is perfect timing for Eurobyte. “Eurobyte launched Sunell’s range of surveillance solutions to its South African customers a little over one month ago and as part of our value-add to the channel we had five engineers certified by Sunell to provide training and technical support.

“These certified engineers are now able to train up to 25 people per week. The qualifications of our engineers means clients can be sure their technicians are up to speed with the latest technology and solutions from Sunell.”

The distributor has training facilities available in its Johannesburg and Cape Town offices where channel partners and integrators can obtain a certification in various Sunell systems, including in its latest range of NVRs (network video recorders) as well as IMS (Inview Management Station). IMS is a management platform that makes selecting different views, managing storage requirements and controlling bandwidth usage simple for operators of various skill levels.

Due to the demand from the market for Sunell products, Eurobyte has also built demonstration areas in its branches where channel partners and their clients can view the latest Sunell analog, IP and thermal cameras in action. The company also has a number of Sunell’s new NVRs as well as IMS set up for visitors to view.

Eurobyte’s Sunell training programme is already up and running and interested parties should contact Eurobyte at +27 (0)11 234 0152 or go to www.eurobyte.co.za
