Sunell celebrates a successful year in South Africa

July 2015 News & Events, Surveillance

Sunell Technologies participated in its first South African security exhibition at Securex 2015 and used the occasion to host a cocktail party on its stand to thank its partners and celebrate its rapid rise to mainstream success in the country.

The Sunell team opened the event and welcomed everyone to the party. They also announced the grand prize of the evening, to be presented after a lucky draw, would be a 42-inch Smart TV.

The welcoming was followed by a speech from Sunell’s sales director, Alec Liu, who announced that the event was a small token from Sunell to its South Arica partners and clients to thank them for a successful year. Liu said that while Sunell had only opened its doors in South Africa a little more than one year ago, it had experienced better than expected acceptance in this market and had been able to post enviable growth rates.

Sunell’s slogan in the coming year will reflect its belief that security technology will be able to turn ordinary people into superheroes. Liu explained that Sunell’s clients were the real superheroes as they made a difference in the daily lives of innumerable people. Furthermore, Liu expects the partnerships Sunell has developed in South Africa to stand it in good stead throughout 2015 as the company further solidifies its position in South Africa.

After the speeches, the party continued among the various products on display on Sunell’s stand. The technology ranged from megapixel cameras through to a 6 MP, 360-degree fisheye camera, Sunell’s Smart Home offering, its NVR platform and its video management platform, InView CMS.

Despite having spent a busy day at Securex, the party goers continued until late in the night. When the lucky draw took place later in the evening, Elton James from Mzanzi Fire and Security was lucky enough to be the winner of the 42-inch Smart TV, which will make a smart addition to his home.
