Sicurezza 2015: increasingly a benchmark

July 2015 News & Events

An industrial policy tool at the service of the market and a driver of development for an expanding sector, Sicurezza, the biennial international exhibition of security and fire prevention, will be returning to the Fiera Milano fairground from 3 to 5 November 2015.

The numbers speak for themselves: the provisional 2014 statements of ANIE Sicurezza (the Italian Association of Security and Building Automation) confirm the positive trend of the last three years, with an increase in the aggregate turnover of 5% compared to the prior year.

“At Sicurezza 2015 we shall be proposing a format that is even closer to the demands of the industry. Even now, five months before the exhibition opens, the number of companies signing up – and, to date, more than 70% of the exhibition space has already been allocated – suggests that the new system of holding the exhibition in odd years constitutes an important change, especially in terms of raising the event’s international profile,” declared Giuseppe Garri, exhibition manager of Sicurezza.

“We shall be focusing on the representativeness of security offerings, on highlighting the high degree of technological research behind the solutions available on the market today, but we shall also be focusing on the way the market is changing, with sessions on topics which appear to be of more widespread interest, such as the Internet of Things and cyber security. And we shall be presenting this new world to foreign buyers from the markets which are potentially the most interesting in terms of exports – from the countries around the Mediterranean, the Middle East and North Africa – thanks to a goal-oriented, optimised investment through our business matching platform, the EMP (Expo Matching Programme).

“Our aim is to establish a close rapport with all the companies involved, so that they become partners, working hand in hand with the Italian associations that represent the manufacturers. With their help, we are developing a project through which we hope to become a pool of reference for all the markets in southern Europe.”

We invite all the trade professionals from the security sector to Sicurezza 2015, from 3 to 5 November 2015 at the Fiera Milano fairground.
