MiRO set for Securex 2015

May 2015 News & Events

The MiRO stand, which was the recipient of the Best Large Exhibition Stand at Securex 2014, will once again display a wide range of its wireless IP convergence products. A portfolio including wireless solutions from SIAE, Radwin, Ubiquiti and LigoWave will be showcased. The company will also exhibit the Vivotek range of cameras (from its Supreme cameras to its compact more cost effective C Series) and its Sunell range of thermal, analogue and IP cameras. The NUUO range of VMS and NVR solutions and the Milestone open platform video management system will also be highlighted.

A new product range to the MiRO stand is NUUO. NUUO’s VMS and NVR solution offer comprehensive recording, monitoring, and seamless third-party solution integration for IP and analogue cameras. The well-known NUUO SOLO appliance range is Linux-based which provides effective protection against both PC viruses and system crashes. Setup is quick and easy and offers compatibility with over 80 different camera brands including megapixel cameras. Both H.264 compression and two-way audio are supported by the system.

The company’s range of Vivotek cameras on show will include the VI-IB8367-RT, the VI-VC8201 and the VI-FE8180. The VI-IB8367-RT offers the world’s first IP network camera with a POE out and remote focus version. Users can daisy chain up three cameras with one POE source and achieve up 100 m distance between each camera. The cameras feature a 2.8 to 12 mm lens with remote focus, enabling users to adjust the focus of the camera after the installation, via the software, a great tool when cameras are installed in extreme locations.

New from Sunell are the SN-IPV56/40UDR and SN-IPR56/20AKDN. Both models are IP66 vandal-resistant dome cameras that can be used in harsh weather conditions. They also have a built-in PoE and MicroSD Slot, so in the event that the network fails, users will not lose any recordings. Another feature of these models is a built-in alarm and audio In/Out on the physical cable, making it extremely installer friendly when installing microphones and other audio equipment.

SIAE provides a range of high performing microwave radio and wireless network solutions with a compact zero footprint design. Each solution comes with scalable capacity upgrade licences, ACM (adaptive coded modulation) and ATPC (automatic transmit power control). SIAE products are considered best in class for system gain and boast the lowest power consumption.

New from Radwin is the 750 Mbps 2000 D+ Series, which provides exceptional carrier-grade performance for 5 GHz backhaul. Product manager Jan Keyser explains that the Telco-grade D+ Series operates in harsh conditions and has unmatched performance in dense radio environments. The series is easy to install and maintain and its multi-band radio supports multiple frequency bands on the same platform.

LigoWave’s WNMS (wireless network management system) is a free enterprise-grade system which simplifies a large number of management and monitoring tasks for network administrators. WNMS Cloud is a cloud-based WNMS and WNMS Mobile allows users to monitor their network using a mobile device. Being Android-based makes it ideal for network operating centre coordinators, maintenance staff and support engineers.
