New range from FBII

November 2001 Perimeter Security, Alarms & Intruder Detection

Comprising models 400, 600, 408, 624, 848 the new OMNI range from FBII, and available locally from TeqTrader, offers a host of features and is expandable across the board for the full range of residential right through to medium and large commercial applications.

Says Ahmed Bhabha, Operations and Logistics Manager at TeqTrader, "Aside from our dedicated support division that will look after customer needs in the field and our repair department, we will also be presenting dedicated training courses on the OMNI range at our countrywide training centres to educate the market about the extensive range of features and benefits OMNI has to offer."

The full OMNI range is expandable from 4 to 48 zones. Designed for quick installation, OMNI-400 and 600 are the more basic systems, without wireless capability, ideal for the home, apartment or office. The powerful OMNI-408 is a cost effective hybrid solution for the high volume mass-market installation company - suitable for both residential and smaller commercial applications because it is expandable to eight zones. OMNI-624 and 848 are hybrid controllers with high wireless capability and are ideal for larger applications as well as for residential and commercial use.

Continues Bhabha, "One of the most significant is the Chatbak-V verbal status module which gives you voice status of your alarm system via easy-to-understand voice prompts such as 'System armed' for example, and also enables you to leave messages at a message centre and acts as an additional keypad for arming the system. "

The OMNI range has been designed and manufactured to stringent standards. It is currently CE, TBR21 and CTR21 approved with ANPI, NCP and IMQ approvals pending.
