With a strong background in sales and project management, Greg Rouwendaal has been appointed by the UTM Group to handle new business development. He has worked in the security systems integration sector for many years and made his mark as project management and sales specialist at Sitronix.

“I will be responsible for researching new business opportunities through the network of consultants I have developed over the years. A healthy, long-standing relationship with a number of electrical engineering consultants is the result of intensive liaison and collaboration on a number of high-profile projects,” said Rouwendaal.

He will leverage his selling and negotiation skills, along with his knack for identifying new business and opening doors, to expand the UTM Group’s current portfolio. The UTM Group is intent on increasing its penetration into the market and presenting its diverse mix of knowledge, capabilities and capacities to large projects.

“The UTM Group is currently refining a franchise model which we will start rolling out next year. This will see franchisees increasing the footprint that the UTM Group has throughout the country. This unique business opportunity will be highly beneficial to both the UTM Group as well as those participants selected to own a franchise operation,” Rouwendaal explained.

“It is a great privilege to be involved in growing the borders of the UTM Group brand and the next few months will be exciting and positively challenging,” he concluded.
