Natech offers Arteco and Sentry360

November 2012 News & Events

Natech Universal Technology, based in Midrand, has been awarded sole distributorship for Arteco Intelligent Video Solutions to complement its current Sentry360 product line.

Arteco is able to use the 360-degree image from the Sentry360 FullSight range and apply its analytics to the image. Furthermore, Arteco is able to stream video across lower bandwidth as well as to apply pop-up audible and visual alarms to facilitate an offsite monitoring solution. The normal features such as opening and closing of gates, switching on and off of lights etc, is all part of the Arteco package.

Arteco does not only support Sentry360, it supports most mainstream IP cameras as well as analogue solutions.

The complete Insight camera line from the Sentry360 including the 5, 10 and 14 megapixel IP cameras are now available for use on the Arteco VMS platform with integrated area analytics, object analytics and traffic analytics. The Sentry360 Fullsight camera line, including the 5 and 10, megapixel hemispheric IP cameras with patented software dewarping technology is also available on the Arteco VMS platform with analytics.

“We are excited to announce the release of Arteco software with a complete Sentry360 integration,” stated Steve Birkmeier, VP of US operations for Arteco. “We can now deliver a full array of multi-megapixel and hemispheric cameras with accurate analytics for proactive situational awareness at an attractive price-point to the market.”

“The Arteco solution delivers an extremely powerful, straightforward VMS that was purpose-built around the unique analytics engine they pioneered over 10 years ago,” said Tom Carnevale, president of Sentry360. “The accuracy and broad array of relevant breach and traffic analytics combined with Arteco’s aggressive per channel price strategy and Sentry360’s family of multi-megapixel cameras offer affordable access to a solution that was, until now, out of reach to most video surveillance users.”
