Predator Alarms has released the Predator X3. It is a wireless system with GSM support (send SMSs and/or call preset numbers when triggered, as well as having the ability to receive calls allowing for arming/disarming remotely).
The Predator X3 includes advanced features like sensor supervision, home automation and advanced sensor encryption. Sensors report their status to the alarm unit regularly. The alarm unit tracks sensor reports and will itself report when a sensor stops reporting or reports information such as tampering or low battery.
The X3 includes, as an accessory, 240 V wireless switches that can receive communication from the alarm to switch on sprinkler, motor gates, lights etc. Other features, like the 120 incident record storage capacity, backup telephone line (with ADEMCO) and wired zones are included. All sensors including the remote controllers have built-in address codes and are encrypted.
