African Satellite Corporation (ASC), a local provider of mobile satellite communication solutions, has announced the re-launch of Iridium - a satellite-based personal communication (GMPCS) or mobile satellite service (MSS) which supports global wireless digital communications.
Iridium provides voice, paging, messaging and data services in one handheld terminal for mobile subscribers, and the improved service promises enhanced products and services at a cost-effective rate.
