AD Holdings Group, the Cheshire, UK-based security specialist, recently announced that it had acquired 36% of Dedicated Micros, for an undisclosed sum.
AD Holdings, which consists of remote monitoring specialists RemGuard, video server product manufacturer AD Network Video and video-based avionics systems manufacturer AD Aerospace, is chaired by Mike Newton who also controls another 63% of Dedicated Micros' shares.
Dedicated Micros will continue to specialise in the manufacture and marketing of CCTV equipment. The company will also continue to service the emerging network solutions market through its dmicros.com brand which plans to sell AD Network Video's NetVu Vanguard video servers in a number of world markets.
AD Holdings spokesman, Adam Wiseberg says, "This is a very exciting development for our company. There is tremendous synergy between ADH and DM. They can now add our video server products to their world-renowned multiplexers."
