Mustek announced its certification as an Authorised Distributor of the Huawei Symantec range of network security, secure routers, servers and storage solutions in South Africa.
Adding the Huawei Symantec range of products is a natural progression for Mustek, to provide customers with storage solutions to complement new Mustek competencies such as the Surveillance Technologies division.
Huawei Symantec Technologies (Huawei Symantec) is a joint venture which was established in February 2008 by Huawei and Symantec. Huawei Symantec holds more than 800 patents in network security and storage, and is responsible for establishing major standards in a number of international and Chinese network security and storage standardisation organisations.
“Mustek received the first shipment of Huawei Symantec stock in September and doors are open for business,” says Siobhan Hanvey, business unit manager, “Mustek and Huawei Symantec are recruiting resellers with the drive, passion and know-how to sell and implement these solutions.”
