Hi-Tech Security Solutions announced Retail Risk 2010

June 2010 News

Following on from the successful conference in 2009, Hi-Tech Security Solutions and The Consumer Goods Council will again jointly host Retail Risk in 2010.

This year’s conference will look at the impact advancing technology will have on the process of securing retail operations. The ever-changing features, functionality and capabilities of new technology are changing the way everyone, from individual retailers through to malls and shopping centres are able to secure their operations, people and profits. In the long run, the ultimate goal is that what starts out as a security solution will have a measurable return on investment and contribute to the bottom line.

The conference and exhibition will focus on delivering useful information and case studies that attendees will be able to apply in their own businesses, boosting their security operations effectiveness and limiting the strain on revenues. Most importantly, effective security creates trust among customers and potential customers, which will bring more feet onto the premises.

More than simply security tips and tricks, Retail Risk strives to demonstrate the link between effective security implementations and real business benefits. Using technology to secure one’s premises can also provide additional functionality that can boost earnings.

Retail Risk is a conference aimed at assisting retail and security professionals to protect their retail business property, assets, customers and profits. It is a unique gathering of retail professionals with the express purpose of discussing, learning and improving the security of retail operations by the timeous and optimal implementation of technical solutions.

Retail Risk is aimed at retail, forecourt and distribution business owners and managers, retail and distribution security/risk managers, property managers, warehousing and logistics companies, and security professionals who provide security services to these sectors. It is a must-attend event for everyone involved in security in the retail environment.
