Technoswitch celebrates VESDA

January 2010 News

Technoswitch, a southern African fire detection solutions provider, was recently awarded a Vesda OEM distributorship for southern Africa.

To cement the relationship between the two companies, Technoswitch recently held a product day at its premises in Laser Park. The afternoon was well attended with a combination of approximately 50 consultants and installers all enjoying the live demos and networking opportunities.

The day officially came to an end with a brief speech by Trevor Harty (Technoswitch GM) and Lauren Sher (Xtralis Vesda Southern African regional sales manager), followed by a lucky draw prize giving. All the attendees were given a gift bag with all sorts of goodies, but the big winner of the day was Pieter Joubert who walked away with a Nintendo Wii. Both Johan Blignaut and Louis Kruger won gift vouchers.

Trevor Harty had this to say about Technoswitch and the newly formed alliance.

“Technoswitch has a long tradition of associating itself with good value for money, market leading products, and this relationship is no different in that respect. We are excited about the opportunities this distributorship opens up for us and we now look forward to being able to offer, in addition to our existing product range, the Vesda product ,and related service to the industry.

As part of our mission, Technoswitch is aiming to provide professional pre and after sales service in conjunction with honest delivery times. Aspects of the Vesda product range previously enjoyed by the market here in southern Africa.”
