May 2001 News & Events

The FDIA welcomes any company who gains its income from the supply, design installation or servicing of fire detection systems to join the Association.

Membership is approved on the following basis:

* Payment of the registration fee of R3000 per annum

* Being a registered company or cc.

* Having conducted business for one year or the directors/members/owners of the business having been working in the industry for three years or more.

* Being in possession of and agree to work in accordance with South African Standard SABS 0139 Part 1, or BS 5839 Part 1.

* Having a clean track record.

Membership will be classified based on the type of approval.
