TruVision builds value

August 2009 Surveillance

GE Security has announced the introduction of three video surveillance products that meet current, tough market conditions and real world security challenges, while respecting budget constraints.

The TruVision cameras embody GE Security’s response to evolving security industry needs by offering high performance security solutions with a favourable product to quality ratio. Addressing the need for increased flexibility amongst end users, these cameras are available in three different ranges: as box cameras, PTZ domes or with infrared (IR) capabilities. They are easy to set up and use and are designed with limited space applications in mind.

The TruVision Box Camera is a high-resolution colour security camera offering 480 TV lines of resolution, high sensitivity (0.5 lux), and advanced digital signal processing. Enhanced features include automatic backlight compensation and accurate colour rendition even under the most adverse lighting conditions.

With enhanced zoom components, the TruVision Dome PTZ Compact 16X Optical Zoom camera features a form factor that is big on PTZ functionality and small in size. Its 16X optical zoom combined with an 8X digital zoom allow for exceptional capability to zoom into areas of interest, while the highly advanced definition sensor delivers high sensitivity and ideal image resolution.

The TruVision IR cameras complete a comprehensive family of standalone or basic integrated installations that are flexible and scalable to accommodate future growth. These cameras provide colour images by day and black-and-white images under IR operation in low-light to total darkness applications.

Overall, the TruVision video surveillance products are durable, cost-effective, easy to install into existing infrastructure and deliver outstanding performance – all key points to promote enhanced customer satisfaction.
