Universal IP alarm communicator

Elvey Security Technologies has announced the availability of the DSC T-Link family of Internet and network alarm communicators which saves customers money by taking advantage of their existing Internet connection to create an instant, always-on IP alarm communication solution. The T-Link TL300 module is a network Internet communicator that sends alarm system information to a central station receiver. The module is pre-programmed with the most commonly used settings for quick installation.

Capable of communicating with any control panel (including third party manufacturers), the T-Link TL300 connects directly to the telephone output of a control panel and simulates a telephone connection providing a TCP/IP connection that sends predefined Contact ID codes to the central station.

The T-Link TCP/IP transmitter is compatible with all control panels and connection is fully supervised when used in conjunction with the SG-DRL-IP receiver line card. Any tampering or network trouble will be detected. With the use of DSC’s DLS downloading software, site administrators can request information from the panel, change user information, generate status reports and gather daily maintenance details from a PC via the TCP/IP network.
