Brigit Systems has started 2009 off by announcing its expanded scope of operations. Growing beyond its traditional operations in the fire arena, including distributing products from Fike (UK), Microforum (Italy) and Wiborne (Tapei) in Africa, the company has now expanded to integrated security solutions.
Brigit Systems has completed various projects in Africa over the years. Most contracts in Africa involve integrated fire detection and protection installations, consisting of smoke detectors, interface devices and gas systems to ensure automatic safe secure areas in the case of fire. Some installations also involved CCTV monitoring and point monitoring solutions for the cellphone towers in Africa. With Brigit’s CCTV product range it is possible for any operator to view and control any site from a handheld device in any location.
The expansion of Brigit’s field of operations now sees it offering fire detection, fire suppression and integrated security systems, including access control systems, CCTV systems, point monitoring and intrusion systems.
Brigit is operational over Africa, and has completed projects in South Africa, Ghana, Nigeria, Congo, Angola, Uganda, Tanzania, Botswana, Zambia and Mozambique.
The company also provides training on all installed systems as it is critical for clients to understand the full operation of all equipment and the need to know the capabilities of the installed integrated systems.
