Samsung integrates with Milestone

Samsung Electronics has announced the successful integration of its newly released IP camera lines (SNC-B2315, SNC-B5395, SNC-M300) with the video management software (VMS) from Milestone Systems and On-Net Surveillance Systems Inc (OnSSI).

During 2008, Samsung Electronics launched three outstanding IP cameras including a D1 resolution box-type model (SNC-B2315), a dome-type model (SNC-B5395) and a 3 Mega pixel box-type model (SNC-M300) incorporating all Samsung’s high technologies in visual imaging, semiconductor and networking.

All three models feature full support and compatibility with major VMS companies such as Milestone and OnSSI. Additionally, Samsung Electronics is also introducing its own IP video management software, NET-I to offer an additional VMS options to users of Samsung Electronics’ IP products.

Samsung Electronics has also entered into a partnership with ImmerVision, the expert company in 360° panoramic imaging technology and inventor of the Panomorph lens that removes video surveillance blindness with standard cameras. With this partnership, users of IP cameras from Samsung Electronics such as SNC-B2315 and SNC-M300 can enjoy the benefit of panoramic viewing when using ImmerVision’s Panomorph lens.
