GlobeRemote is an innovative Danish product which functions together with a mobile phone to set up a security system which works at a distance in ensuring remote site security and control safety, and which can also be used for gathering information.
Created by Danish companies, Satdata and TeleDanmark Mobil, the complete surveillance and control system simply consists of a small control box which is capable of monitoring and executing numerous functions. It works in tandem with a mobile phone, and comes with an optional set of accessories to suit individual requirements such as access control, smoke detection, room or temperature sensors, or start-stop relays.
GlobeRemote offers solutions for:
* Monitoring temperature levels in homes, offices or factories.
* Starting or stopping air conditioning or heating.
* Receiving an alarm if room sensors or door or window contacts are activated.
In the event that an alarm is triggered, GlobeRemote automatically sends a SMS to the user's mobile phone, indicating which sensor has caused the alarm to be activated. Users can also elect to have the phone message sent to an alarm or security service centre, in addition to their own phone number.
