The E-DVR-808 is an innovative new JPEG2000 8ch Embedded DVR. With a 19" rack mount, it accommodates up to three x SATA HDDs and has an integrated DVD-writer. Triplex operation, the user is able to simultaneously monitor, review or network to the DVR.
The E-DVR-808 utilises JPEG2000 compression for its onboard digital video recording. JPEG2000 is one of the latest forms of video compression.
One can operate the DVR via its easy to use front panel controls, with the included IR remote or via an optional wired control keyboard. The E-DVR-KB01 control keyboard is connected via CAT5 and can be used for controlling the DVR from up to 500 metres away.
Up to 10 users can be programmed to connect to the unit. This includes the administrator, a manager and up to eight standard users. Each has their respective access rights.
For improved remote connectivity our DVR unit has a dual codec. Recording to the HDD is done in high quality JPEG2000 and remote network transmission is completed in H.264.
