GSM/GPRS reporting module

The NX-7002, available from Elvey Security Technologies, is a GSM/GPRS reporting module for the NetworX series of intrusion control panels.

It operates as a reporting channel for alarm transmissions and can also be used for remote programming using upload/download over the GSM data channel and GSM network.

Alarm events can be reported to the monitoring station and all supported protocols using the GSM audio channel. Alarm events in SIA or Contact ID can be reported using a TCP/IP connection over GPRS to a compatible Osborne Hoffman network receiver. Alarm reporting can also be done through the audio channel in combination with an NX-535E voice module or via SMS messaging.

The GSM can also be used to provide remote system operation and 2-way audio with the NX-534E module and users can remotely control their system using SMS (only available on the Version 5 module at the end of 2007).
