DSC has introduced the latest addition to the Bravo series of PIRs - the Digital Encore 3D. This new product incorporates all the key attributes of the Bravo 3, while elevating the detection capabilities and false alarm prevention through the use of digital MLS technology.
Digital technology provides good-quality analysis of a detection signal because the information can be accurately analysed with digital software. The signal is not subject to degradation caused by amplification, noise, distortion or signal clipping. In addition, it results in more reliable circuitry requiring less power than the conventional Bravo3 analog detector.
It achieves its improved performance by utilising two distinct series of operational parameters. When the Encore 3D senses that the environmental temperature is within a specified range of normal human body temperature, it automatically switches to the more sensitive series of operational parameters ensuring accurate and consistent catch performance. This performance is achieved with a reduction in false alarms at higher temperatures.
