Chubb Security South Africa (SA) has strengthened its management team in the Western Cape by the appointment of Steven Barry as regional managing director, Chubb Electronic Security (CES). Barry will be based in Cape Town and will report directly to Clive van Ryneveld the group's managing director for armed response.
Barry, who has been with the group for over 14 years, was previously managing director of Chubb Integrated Systems (CIS). His skills and management style will further enhance an already strong team known for its pro-active crime prevention strategies that have resulted in the Western Cape area being the recipients of many awards and accolades from professional institutions and the local community alike.
"Barry began his career within the CES division so he is no stranger to the business of advanced armed response and the operations of our sophisticated and computerised Monitoring and Dispatch Centres," says group managing director, Stephen Mundy.
