A mobile version of the award-winning MemoCam, MemoCar provides in-vehicle event image recording in a compact, low-profile installation. MemoCar records high quality digital images on a removable multimedia card for immediate review on pocket PC or later analysis using a PC and multimedia card reader. The images are encrypted, dated and time stamped for integrity. MemoCar is easily installed in using a regulated power adapter for 12 V d.c. vehicle batteries or a 'plug-'n-go' cigarette lighter adapter.
The multiple applications of the MemoCar system include monitoring for goods theft in delivery trucks as well as other commercial loads. Delivery vehicle systems can be installed unobtrusively using pinhole cameras. The MemoCam digital activation system can then be programmed to snap pictures every time an item is off-loaded from the back of the vehicle. A sure way of preventing staff selling 'their goods' from your vehicles.
MemoCar increases vehicle security in buses by recording the activities of passengers, documenting and preventing crimes, and validating legal and insurance claims. Bus companies can use the MemoCam system to check on passenger counts and ticket sales.
