The Regional award is awarded to companies that trade in one specific geographical area. Anton Hochleutner, sales director at Pentagon explains, "We feel that it is difficult for smaller companies to compete for awards against much larger organisations." The award for 2004 was given to Holbert Technical Solutions. This specialist integrator, based in Cape Town, has been doing business with Pentagon for about four years and Pentagon has supplied equipment on a large number of Holbert's CCTV projects.

The National award is awarded to companies that have more than one branch and operate nationally. For the second consecutive year, FireTech Projects took the honours. FireTech has really stood the test time, they have a list of large projects that is very impressive. Their on-going success is testimony to the relationships they have with their clients and suppliers. Brendon Hall, MD of Pentagon says, "We have always appreciated the honesty and integrity that has existed between ourselves and FireTech. The quality of work delivered always provides a great example to others and their commitment to suppliers and the way their account is handled makes them a very easy company to deal with. I wish Steve, Ray and the rest of the team all the best for 2005." The major project that involved Pentagon and FireTech for 2004 was the rollout to all Shell service stations.
