GSC announces additions to ProxNet

Since receiving ESDA's 'Product of the Year 2000' award, GSC Systems ProxNet Access Control System has remained GSC's 'Product of the Year'.

ProxNet fills a gap between expensive top of the range systems and low-cost over-simplistic products. Continuous development has ensured that the product has become a household name in many countries around the world. All ProxNet system components are CE-certified and boast quality, reliability, simple and quick installation and numerous features normally only found in large complex systems.

During the past year, the following features have been added:

* Full integration of access control with time and attendance recording.

* Wiegand Interface to integrate third party products including biometric readers.

* LCD display reader.

* Alarm monitoring.

* Card holder increase from 4000 to 6000.

* Asset tracking and asset protection.

* A range of remote read heads for various applications.

* Superb management and reporting software (Win95/98/NT/2000/XP compatible) that now supports multiple languages.

* Employee photo identification.

The latest addition is a new range of remote read heads.
